The UG Small Business Grant is available for qualified applicants that own an existing small business with twenty-five (25) or fewer employees that are primed for expansion and moving to the next level in business/job growth.

Historic Preservation Tax Credits

If you are thinking about starting a business in a Historic District, you may qualify for Historic Tax Credits for any rehabilitation needs.

Neighborhoood Revitalization Act Program

Rebate program for anyone who improves their home/building that increases its value at least 15%

Brownfields Assessment Grant Program

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS (UG) has secured a Brownfields Assessment Grant from the EPA To address the issue of brownfields in the community and leverage resources.

Applicants that qualify for funding may receive a Brownfields grant for environmental assessment of contamination. Priority is given to projects that incorporate urban agriculture, public infrastructure improvements, workforce development,  and access to high-speed internet.
